I've been an Ultralight Flight Instructor for nearly eight years and enjoy flying a true ultralight.
I don't intend to move from the Ultralight Part 103 category and will continue to support it. I'm a Challenger
Dealer and am proud to work with the people at Quad City Ultralights and I like their product.
People ask me why I decided to fly Challengers and I tell them it's because the
Challenger best fits the flight conditions of the Midwest. It has an affordable price,a great cruise, removable doors and
a heater for the winter. It also has a 6+ 4- load factor so you don't have to worry about putting loads on the plane.
Here in the Midwest it can get windy for days and whether you buy a plane for pleasure or flight instruction, you want a plane
you can fly. The Challenger will handle a 30kt crosswind. Believe me I know. We are known for flying in wind that most GA
pilots won't fly in. The primary reason is that most GA pilots don't fly as much as we do with our Ultralights/Sportplanes.
The more you fly, the more proficient you get.The Challenger burns 3 to 3.5 gallons per hour compared to the GA's burn
of 5+ gal. With current fuel prices you have to opt for fuel efficiency with a small price tag.
When you decide to buy a plane ask yourself "What kind of flying am I going to
do?" "How much can I afford to spend?" For many, the Challenger will fit their need. UltraFlight LLC
will be happy to give you an Introductory Flight Lesson to help you decide if the Challenger is for you. I tell everyone to
do their research on all the other aircraft in this category before making a decision. They almost always come back to me and
say that the Challenger is the "best bang for the buck". I tell them that's why I'm in business. I have
over 800 hours in Challengers and have had lots of students complete training and take to the skies. I have had four
student recently achieve their sport pilot license.
When you order a kit from us, I will beat any price ....guaranteed. I also sell used aircraft on consignment and
purchase some Challengers for resale. Come check us out!! I'm located at the Le Mars Municipal Airport, in NW
Iowa.
